Chrome Firefox Internet Explorer: Browser war heats up

Three browsers on the web, the archaic Internet Explorer, the featured Firefox and the Gusto Chrome, compete for what could change the dynamics of web for ever. The browser war was earlier between internet explorer and google backed mozilla, which was more of a turf war between two industry giants. Now google has introduced its lethal weapon, which if hits the right spot, could simply kick out microsoft out of the web world.

Chrome on day one

I downloaded Chrome yesterday and despite all attempts by my hectic schedule and MBA preperation, I have finally managed some time to write a small post on Chrome fairs on day one. Back home from work, tired and exhausted I checked out my percentile of the mock MBA entrance test I gave last sunday. Although I just managed a 81 percentile, quite less from what I expected, there was something more in what i was viewing. The small bar on top of the browser made it possible for me to see the whole page without scrolling down, something which was good. It was just like watching a movie on your big screen TV. It is far better than the small cramped screen. The same was felt here. Chrome won the battle on day one as my Mozilla almost chocked my 512Mb RAM notebook. It would be still too early to stay that the success of Chrome is inexorable, I'd still say, it is very much on the cards.

Chrome of the day

Gone are the days of Microsoft’s archaic web browser, the Internet Explorer that tried to monopolize the market of web browsers by bundling it with their windows. Now comes the progenitor of the internet search industry, Google with its new web browser, Chrome. The operating system developers are now facing stiff competition from the gods of search. Chrome has a panache, which was lacking in Mozilla firefox and in the internet explorer. Although I found nothing new in it,
which was missing in the firefox, its just the style, after all we need to try something new. As the leader of the web world, google does things with élan and now chrome has broken into the browser industry with éclat. This comes as blow to the beleaguered explorer that is now trying to explore its way back into the browser market.I wouldn’t go all ga ga about Chrome as it is new and various bugs may come into limelight in a few days. Overall it has outweighed Mozilla in terms of design and style and IE8 is way behind in utility.Download Chrome
